Resting Needlepoint Canvas - was originally an Oil Painting by Samantha Taylor - depicting a young lady resting on a love seat. The large flat areas - reminiscent of Henri Matisse - are perfect for dimensional stitches and combining different needlepoint fibers to interpret and add originality to each worked piece. Resting Needlepoint is lovely framed or as a cushion. Again - we recommend the use of raw silk cut on a bias to compliment this needlepoint exclusive. A very nice compliment for a bedroom.

A Contemporary Needlepoint Pillow may be finished in the traditional way with cording. We prefer a simple straight stitch to join the finished needlepoint to the selected backing fabric.
