Materials:
Shadowbox frame
Glue gun and hot glue
Scissors
Velcro

Instructions:

1. Block to perfection - and mount the finished needlepoint on a flat - nonacid backing - using contact glue as recommended by a trustworthy crafts shop.

2. Find an appropriate-sized shadowbox frame - or use two or more shadow box frames - and hang them together. Arrange the pieces into a display before you glue them into place. You may also start by placing a piece of fabric into the shadow box for a soft background.

3. Apply small pieces of Velcro to the corners of the mounted needlepoint and attach them to the fabric background. This adds dimension by pulling the picture slightly away from the background.

Try grouping shadow box frames together by hanging them on the wall or placing them in an armoire or on a side table.
