NEWS FROM SPAIN We want to thank - You - for the loving concern - displayed to us - - this past week. 
Belonging to both the United States and Spain - - we have - had - an abrupt pause in our daily lives. Enough has been written and said - yet we all comment here - - how fortunate that - one train arrived two minutes late - thus avoiding thousands from dying - in this well planned bombing of - Madrid*s historical Atocha Train Station. The City is still stunned - as this beautiful - strong country - - desperately share an unprecedented solidarity. The Madrileños are not going to show defeat ... ... In their manner - the exquisite sense of humor continues - yet behind - are those tragic - facial expressions.
Flowers for Paco The flowers - notes and candles - grow
in the doorway nearby - - a silent tribute to Paco - the concierge
- we lost - - on his way to work - that morning. He was a loved person in Our *Barrio* - and as the word spreads - - the shrine grows - on that very spot - - where he stood - for - so - many - years. We will all miss - his smiles and those daily - very - witty - chats.
We can only Dream - - that this will be - the last of all injustices - - as our arms - reach out to - every Victim - and - their Families.
