There is nothing more frustrating than attempting to work a painted design that is not exactly online with the needlepoint canvas. Rest assured that Samantha Taylor Needlepoint Canvases will always be exact and precise.

The stitch-painted colors are mixed to match the recommended tapestry wools and fibers - as closely as possible - although we do contrast similar shades for your stitching comfort.

If two or more shades are similar - we sacrifice the aesthetics of the canvas by exaggerating the tones lighter and darker than the fibers - thus producing a clear definition of which color to use as defined by the color codes separated on the side of the painted needlepoint canvas.

After painting the needlepoint canvases - we apply a polymerized finish to fully protect it - and insure years of quality. We paint on Zweigart - Interlock and Mono Deluxe Canvases.
